Asteroid Energy is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Romania. The Operations Manager will play a key role in overseeing mining operations, optimizing production processes, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operations Oversight: Manage and oversee all aspects of mining operations, including planning, scheduling, and execution of mining activities.
- Production Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity through process optimization, equipment upgrades, and technology implementation.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards, implementing policies and procedures to minimize risk and ensure a safe working environment.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert guidance and support to address their operational needs and challenges.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage operational budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities to maximize profitability.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports and performance metrics, analyzing key operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks, implementing controls and contingency plans to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and industry standards, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement, seeking out opportunities to optimize processes, streamline operations, and enhance overall efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Operations Oversight: Manage and oversee all aspects of mining operations, including planning, scheduling, and execution of mining activities.
- Production Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity through process optimization, equipment upgrades, and technology implementation.
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in mining operations management or consulting.
- Strong technical knowledge of mining processes, equipment, and technologies.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals and objectives.
